A. Saints lose out and finish 7-10. Nobody gets fired. Loomis mortgages more of the future for going all in for present "opportunity".

B. Saints beat Bucs and Falcons, but sit home as Tampa takes division.

C. Saints beat Bucs, Bucs lose to Panthers, and the Falcons ruin the party by spanking us in the Dome.

Lifelong Saints fans know C is the most likely.

Rooting for A, B is the most likely, C is the most Saints scenario.

I want to give you crap right now but I am also a lifelong Saints fan going back to the early 70s. So I understand the worst-case scenario is most likely mentality because it seems it always has been for us. And throw in the give you hope to pull the rug out expectations.

No, the most likely outcome is the Saints lose to the Bucs and then beat the Falcons. This secures a draft pick after the Falcons.

A is easily the worst case scenario. Not losing out but mortgaging more of future.

Nothing about this season matters in the least. We can only hope the organization starts to learn from its current path.

Wrong, as a lifelong saints fan, it will always be C.

They’re going to keep DA (A), but not so they can mortgage the future to pry the window open again… they’re going to do it because he has another year on his deal and they’re stuck with Carr for another season.

In order most likely to happen as lifelong Saints fan.

C) 56% probability
B) 24% probability
A) 20% probability

D) making playoffs, officially at 14% chance but all Saints fans know, less than zero probability

This is insane to think because we are more than a player or 2 away from a SB. We might be a player or 2 from a one-and-done playoff birth.

Which is sad to think we might mortgage our future for that.

C would be the worst. I have seen that movie before.

A is probably the plan, without the loss to the Panthers.

B is very possible and we would waste draft spots for nothing.

Rooting for B.

Hard pass on getting swept by Atlanta.

Being that you’re here, on the Saints forum, commenting on not watching and caring does not apply to you?
