Go and look at the Titans record when Tannehill is the starter. Just go ahead and look. Few things lie less than win loss record and they are 37-20 with him starting. That is a more impressive win than beating what essentially amounts to beating two rookie QB’s at home. And the Falcons struggled putting the Panthers away and were arguably lucky to beat the Packers.

Cowboys defense is the best in the league. Their offense is too 5. So they are overall the best team in the NFC.

Defense counts as well. Didn’t this same Carolina team almost beat them in Atlanta in Young’s first game as a pro?

Falcons won 24-10. Our game was lot closer, so the answer to your question is no.

You didn’t watch the game. It was tied in fourth quarter and Carolina outgained them by 60 yards and that Atlanta offense put up a whopping 220 yards of total offense.

I watched the game they lost by 14 against the falcons- that is not almost beating them. The panthers lost to us by 3, they were a lot closer to beating us then the falcons. Im not exactly sure how you can argue they almost beat them. Yes, they had the lead but also lost it quickly, meanwhile the panthers were tied or remained close to a one score in this game with us. Look I hate the Falcons too but reality is this was much more of a game than panthers v falcons was.

Only because of Jordan Love

Do you even watch football? Love is essentially a rookie (# of starts) and the Packers are arse on defense. Love isn't putting the Packers as a top-6 team in NFC

I am not impressed with the Eagles. Not saying they are bad, but I put them right there with us in that they could be 0-2 if a handful of plays went the other way.

Their secondary may be the worst in football.

Typical response of someone who just looked at the final scores. The game with the Panthers and Falcons was tied after 3 quarters and was anyone’s game and the Falcons added a late score to pull away. The Saints absolutely dominated on defense and only allowed a late score because they backed off and played prevent. Context and a clue are necessary when evaluating performances.

We may win the division. Beyond that, I wouldn’t bet the farm.

I hate to say it, but the Saints haven’t played very well yet as a team. The defense has been great, but the offensive line has been hot garbage and while the skill players have tons of potential, we haven’t lived up to it yet. Hopefully Kamara comes back and we elevate our game a lot.

May be instead of using Saints bias watch our game as well objectively. They were an onside kick away from tying our game. The prevent defense that allowed the TD was bad coaching by DA, its part of the game as well you cant dismiss. Yes our defense was elite but our offense was not outside a few throws and runs. This game was just as close even if Carolina couldn’t get it going. Whether you like to hear it or not and I hate the falcons, but with how our offense has performed and without Kamara- I would put Atl above us but that can absolutely and likely will change.

Cowboys and 49ers are way better than everyone else so far in the NFC.

Thanks for admitting it. Now which team was the home team and which team was the road team? It may come as a surprise to you, but teams tend to play much better at home. Rookie QBs really tend to play much better at home. Hope this helps.

Dude you’re stretching it. But its your opinion and how you rank them. The falcons overall (not just defense but offense as well) have looked much better. Our defense is much better than theres. But their offense has looked a lot better than ours. But sure think offense doesn’t matter and our defense is so much better that we should be ranked higher. Again this is a lot of your Saints bias more than objectively looking at football. You’re literally disecting where games are played to put us above them. I respect your falcins hate but anyone objectively will say falcons overall have looked better.

What an absolute pile of shite. Two close home wins against two teams that may not be very good (Packers may be OK), and you have them clearly better than the Saints right now. Just stop.
