Front office and ownership is showing they are hungrier than ever to win with or without Payton.

If this trade happens there is an argument for the Saints having the best front office in the NFL.

It’s still so surreal to hear the talking heads say the Saints are an organization that knows how to win, has an established strong culture, etc.

The Saints will always reside in a part of my brain as the hapless, lovable losers I remember for so many years being a fan since late 70s. For newer fans their perception has only been of a winning organization. Spoiled bastards!

Hell yea bro. I had knee surgery yesterday and this would be a great way to keep my spirits up during recovery.

It seems like not that long ago, I was excited that we signed Kerry Collins because he was atleast a QB I had heard of before.

Think CSP is having second thoughts?

I'm proud of all of us - we really came together over Deshaun.

I don't want him back. I want draft picks from Dallas and then I want to beat him the first 5 times we play him including once or twice in the playoffs.

Which is a foundation we all hope continues for many years to come. And was largely built by Payton and Brees. All the more reason that their naysayers are nonsensical. Without them none of this culture is in place today and we’re likely still what we were before, the Lions.

This is 100% Allen’s team now, trying to put his stamp on it immediately and in bold.

I agree - I think many coaches aren't ready the first time they're a HC and they crave a shot to do it over again. Imagine getting that 2nd shot and getting off to a strong start like this - landing a top 5 QB who is only 26 year old. Wow!

I also love the fact that you know Loomis is eager to prove that he's at least as much a part of our success (IMO even more so) than Payton was. Loomis definitely constructed 5 or 6 teams who were good enough to get to the Super Bowl and in my opinion CSP underperformed to the extent that he should be lumped in with Mike McCarthy.

Allen knows what it is like to be on a franchise with no QB or a rookie QB. He ain't betting his financial future on Winston or Pickens.

Why because gayle is a crook who should be in jail and now wants to bring in a sex offender who hasn’t played in two years

I might only be 37 but I’m old enough to remember thinking 6 wins was a great season.

I actually got excited for Dave Wilson once.
