3. Welcome to mass attended football covid hotspot. Believe it or not you won’t be allowed to just waltz into the Saints game as you please. You will need a ticket, pants, shoes, a mask, and a negative covid test. If you bring signs with messages critical of the team or the league or political in nature they will be confiscated. If you are unruly once inside you will be kicked out. Which one of these requirements is a disgusting mandate and which one is civil society?

Are you saying someone who doesn't want to be vaccinated isn't promoting a civil society?

Louisiana has been hit hard by Delta. Cases and hospitalizations have already peaked and the spike will be over in 3-4 weeks (estimate) despite whatever behaviors you think are a disgrace.

I suspect you will continue to be as scared as you are now though.

And people like you are allowing government overreach. You’re willing to live under the boot so you can go to a football game.

Wake up. The city of New Orleans is trying to dictate who can and cannot go places because of this vaccine. The frick is wrong with y’all?

Gov overreach? LMAO. Bro. You’re a government pawn just like the rest of us. You think they care about little old you or me? I’m just trying to go to a football game while you think you’re some heroic patriot. NO ONE GIVES A shite. You’re just a selfish a-hole making it harder for the system to get a grip on this. It’s really as simple as that.

Did you cry this much in line at the DMV to get your GOV ISSUED ID, Did you cry this much filing your taxes? What about the vaccines they forced you to get to go to school? Why did you pick and choose this one thing the gov controls of your life to get all worked up about? HOW DOES THE GOV KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH TELLING ME WHAT TO DO IN MY LIFE HOWWWWWWWW??

Talk about fricking sheep man.

Incorrect. You don't need a covid test if you show a vaccination.

They should drop the vaccination charade and everyone needs to show a covid test.

Don’t agree at all. Why should I have to show a test when I’ve already taken the steps to prevent a possible trip to the hospital if i get this?

That’s what isn’t getting understood. The patriots think this is all about their freedoms getting limited. The gov doesn’t give a flying frick about you dude. THey’re trying to limit the people pouring into an already strained health system. But yet again, it’s about selfishness and how does this affect just me and muh rights and muh liberties.

You are still a transmitter. That's all there is to it. You just want to selfishly spin your interpretation of your duty now. STOP THE SPREAD MOTHER frickER. GO GET TESTED.

This argument isn't based on muh liberties, but here you are spouting off. Why are we allowing hundreds to thousands that can be potentially be covid + infected into a superdome with thousands of others that are negative if "STOP THE SPREAD" is truly our priority?

But at a much lower rate than someone who isn’t. Which is the entire point of limiting exposure. And again, if I get it, I’m not going to the hospital. It’s not this hard. Hospitalization rates show an unvaccinated case is almost 20xs more likely to have to go to the hospital.

And while where on tests, a negative test within 72 hours doesn’t do much of anything but prove you were negative at one point over the last 3 days. I could take a test Friday, take a COVID bath Saturday, head to the dome positive with a negative test in hand. Why in the world would i want that to be the case for an indoor stadium with 70k people?

Doesn't matter. You can still transmit to the unvaxx people. We are trying to stop the spread supposedly.

So if you take that Covid “bath” Saturday as a vaccinated person, that renders you from transmitting said virus the very next day to the fellow 70k?

I agree the tests are ridiculous but you’re bringing a virus in vaccinated or not.

Because while unvaccinated are the most hospitalized, the vaccinated are the biggest spreaders. I can tell by your attitude on here that you think because you have been vaccinated and wear a mask you are free to go about your life. frick whomever is around you, you did your part.

Fact is, those with natural antibodies are more protected and for longer periods than the vaccinated, but both vaccinated and unvaccinated are capable of spreading the virus at the same rate. The difference is, most vaccinated are displaying a more care-free attitude, especially since they may be asymptomatic due to the vaccine, which has lead to this current surge.

So if the goal is really to stop the spread, vaccine proof should not be a requirement, a negative test should be. With that said, I'm not anti-vax, I have plenty of them, I like to have all the information before I make a decision and there is no doubt politics has gotten in the way of healthcare on every level and I would rather wait it out before trusting the "health advisors". By the way, my own doctor told me to hold off while he told more vulnerable people to get it, so for the moment , I'm following his advice.

I think that this whole "stop the spread" shite is fricking stupid and I highly disagree with this mandate, the government has no right to tell a business what to do in a case like this

But that said, I still think you're a moron for refusing the vaccine

Do I qualify for your club?

I have no idea what your point is. The whole point of the vaccine is to stop sending people to the hospital over it. If it 100% stops reinfection great, but that’s not the case yet.

So..you just proved MY point then. So if you’re unvaxxed stay your arse at home. You’re the demo that’s going to the hospital over it and spreading it at a higher rate.

But someone who’s vaccinated isn’t going home with a case likely to send them to the hospital.

No one, vaccinated or unvaccinated, is likely to be sent to the hospital as a result of contracting COVID.

sorry bud. that's not how our country should work. You should show a negative test cause you can be spreading the covid to people just as well as the unvaxxed. Vaccinated people are going to the hospital too.

You’re absolutely incorrect.

My attitude is frick those who are making us GO BACKWARDs because they value their mirage of liberty and freedom over contributing to getting society back to a more stable healthy environment.

The simple truth is that a stadium full of unvaccinated and negatively tested fans will send home a FRACTION of the people with cases requiring hospitalization than if they didn’t. What the hell does that have to do with you the individual?

The alternative to this is no fans. And if you dont want a vaccine you can still go with a negative test. So who the hell’s freedom and liberty is getting infringed upon?

I can guarantee you the nurses and doctors killing themselves on a regular basis taking care of 95% UNVACCINATED patients are so absolutely fed up with the politics and would like to get some normalcy back in their lives. They’re not getting much of a choice to treat all these people (who are all the same ones who didn’t want the shot in the first place but you damn well bet they’re gonna expect to get treated for it.)

Also wrong. More cases in kids than ever. More people in their 20-30s than ever. But sure. It’s not big deal.
