So how did people who don't live on TD or SR forums know about it? I mean I saw it on wwl's website, but what about the common fan who had a ticket? I was worried not enough would know about it, some in this thread didn't, but it sure did sound like a good turn out.

All the New Orleans news stations talked about it and it was nola.com

Okay, yeah I don't get the stations here, TV nor radio. Thats cool though. Come the Falcons game I'm sure it will be stellar. Everyone will know exactly what how it goes down. Granted the atmosphere will not be as wild, but it is a rivalry game.

They did in Laffy too so the fans down here with tix should have known about it too.

Sounded like on the 1st video there were quite a few people that didn't know it was going to happen.

First video was really lame, but the second one was much better. Hopefully, if they do this for every home game, the crowd will get more in unison as the season goes on. Pretty cool that Brees brings something new each year to get the fans pumped up.

I was at the game and it was amazing. Sounded in sync enough to work. My only complaint is that it should've come after the national anthem instead of before.

Agreed, then the emotional wave becomes a tsunami. On tv, the crowd was so load during the game that it affected the audio of the announcers.

I thought it was loud as hell. It's never going to sound in sync just due to the fact of the sound traveling from the other side of the dome, but to say only 1/4 of the dome was into it is stupid.

Just another clip

I know the guy who plays the music during the games. He said during that chant the decibel meter read 124 decibels.I think that is pretty damn loud.

I thought it was extremely loud.......will be a welcome new addition to gameday. I think they will have a new special guest captain every week to do it. Somehow I think Deuce will be doing it one week......

Would be fun if we could get Archie to do it.

Considering Saints fans will take up half of the Georgia Dome, it'd be pretty awesome if Brees did it there as well

I was thinking the same thing.
