One thing is that the name “Superdome” is so iconic and it’s a marquee venue, so the naming rights don’t bring in as much money as other lesser-known stadiums. Mostly bc ppl are always going to default to calling it “Superdome”, instead of “Mercedes Benz Superdome”. It devalues the contract.
I’d imagine the Saints would prefer a company that has solid footing and is better suited for a long term deal. These new naming rights negotiations take a long time and are costly to execute.

That is humongous stepdown from a global brand like Mercedes Benz. And considering MB basically dropped the Dome for Atlanta's new building it would not be a great look.
You overvalue who the Saints are.
Sponsorships aren’t meant to give fans pride. That idea is humorous to me.

Idk about the employees but I can tell you the equipment we’ve rented from H&E is always running.
