Who do you like as an underdog to make the 53? Who do you think loses a spot? Where would you like to see an upgrade?

I like A Herron and (1) of Saldiveri/ Truss at OT. I also hope we say F it and sign J Bitonio at G.
Polk/ D Alford/ B Brown for WR.
Front 7 gets interesting. I really like the potential of Heldman/ Keeshawn Silver. C Rumph has an uphill battle with the current field.
CB is a shite show. TJ Hall/ L Styles may be better than Yiadom/ Wright already. Still need 1-2 guys better than that group.

I was reading about Cam Jordan’s situation in the past today and your listing drives home how crowded it would be for Cam if he returns. He played well last year but he would have to be a rotational piece with granderson and Young, right? If he’s happy with that, I’d love to have him back for a good price, but I’d want him in the role of a happy leader, not a grumbling vet chasing stats.

Sounds like he was good with the role as he had been playing like that the past 2-3 years (70% snaps in 2023, 48% in 2024, 54% in 2025). However, it also sounds like he was hoping to be paid like the guys playing 90+% of the snaps, while he continues to play 45%

Meanwhile we added Tyree W who has played 40%-50% of snaps in his career and should expect a jump.

Bump. 2-3 threads talking about position battles, would rather bump than keep copying and pasting.

Updated, not sure how that got moved.
This is probably our toughest bubble spot:
NT: Boyd
DT: Keeshawn Silver
DE: C Rumph/ Micheal Heldman
LB: Ford
LB: Stalbird
4 were on the roster last year. 2-3 of these dudes could make the roster or absolutely none of them.

sleepers to make it are Herron and C.J. Donaldson. Do you not have any rbs making the team. Bold strategy Cotton

We should just throw the ball 50x a game. Added them, I just don't think its much of a battle, maybe I'm wrong. Donaldson is going to be solid for the Practice Squad.... I expect Etienne/ AK/ Estime/ Neal.
Its stupid to keep both AK/ Miller. Donaldson has to beat out Ty Chandler at RB5 before you even talk about a roster spot.

Decent discussion about position battles looking at draft picks and FA pickups. We have a ton of DL that will be in competition. Below is who the host thinks is “on the hot seat”.
> Said Werner is most likely to lose his job to Stutsman.

Asim Richards will be our swing T
Dillon Radunz will be our swing G
Torricelli Simpkins will likely be our backup C, though he may not be active all game days if Caesar Ruiz will be utilized as C2.
Really curious to see how the WR depth plays. Trey Lance, Barion Brown, Ja’lynn Polk, Trey Palmer, Damien Alford, Bub Means are all intriguing players
DL depth is another. Bryan Bresee & Christen Miller are the only guarantees. Davon Godchaux will try to fend off John Ridgeway & Kristian Boyd.
Nathan Shepherd will have to beat out Vernon Broughton, Michael Heldman, & Zxavian Harris

Not sure why, but I am excited to watch Lance if he gets to the 53 man roster. Reminds me of a much larger Brandin Cooks.

There is absolutely 0 reason to believe Wright will start > Ruiz. Have to temper expectations.
Wright could suck and Ruiz automatically starts. Ruiz could barely beat out Wright and end up starting. Ruiz could look very good regardless of Wright and he's starting.
The only path Wright has to start is if he absolutely looks amazing and Ruiz absolutely looks like shite. I'd honestly give that a less than 10% chance and that still being generous but I really hope I'm wrong.
Wright has a higher chance to beat out Radunz for backup OG > beating out Ruiz as a starter.
