Tracy said he will try out with the Packers this upcoming weekend, and then will try out with the Saints in New Orleans the following weekend.
Mini-camps tend to last three days, and players try out to earn a contract with the team as an undrafted free agent.
Only two placekickers were selected in the 2019 NFL draft, and both were selected in the fifth round: Utah's Matt Gay (No. 145 overall) and Oklahoma's Austin Seibert (No. 170).

Ugh ! Little chance here. Packers have Mason Crosby, 80% career FG. Tracy’s weekness is outside the 50. That can improve with some work in the weight room. Youngster will have a career somewhere in the NFL.

Maybe the saints are giving him some experience with the NFL to give him a hand later and see if he can develop.
He's got ice in his veins and that's hard to teach that. Maybe they are doing him a favor.
You also never know if you kicker goes down what your backup plan is. They get a feel for the guy and he's accurate as shite.
Better than a long leg who can't hot the side of the barn (Wade Richey SP?) Comes to mind.

Crosby had an abysmal game or two last year, and is older. Also, having someone else in camp to compete is never a bad thing. It can help you network with other teams to get insight. John Harbaugh tipped Payton off about Lutz when they had Tucker. No reason we couldn’t do the same if Tracy is legit to leverage it for info on other players that will be cut.

This is odd. Lutz is a top kicker in the league now. I guess Payton still has kicker nightmares and can’t be too cautious.

I mean didn’t we get Lutz because Baltimore already had Tucker? This seems like due diligence/ injury insurance
