As time goes on I think people are realizing without brady, belicheck's record isn't as impressive.

Last year Bill had his current starting QB alternating series in MNF game with a guy he cut for Matt Corral. He also turned his offense over to his ex-DC. Not sure you want to line up with his choices.

Patriots are near the bottom of the league in percentage of draft picks hit. They get a ton extra and draft a ton of busts.

While Belicheck does a ton of things well, scouting has NEVER been a strong suit.

He lucked into Brady (much like we did with Colston), and that covered up a lot of his talent and offensive coaching issues.

So I agree, and with all that said, Belicheck picking up Corral means jack shite imo.

Where do you see Belicheck saying he thinks Corral is a better prospect than Haener?

Hell Corral still has to battle with Zappe to see if he sticks around for more than a few weeks

He’s a great coach but is absolutely horrible in player personnel. It’s been proven time and time again the early round busts they have taken over the years.

Brady covered up the numerous blunders….

yep, that's true and I couldn't believe they cut Zappe who didn't play bad for them last year. In some games he looked better than Matt Jones. But I noticed this year teams cutting players that have played really well for them and then quickly bringing them back and signing them to the practice squad if they weren't claimed. The Saints did that with Jaylon Smith and Jontre Kirklin and so have other teams with their players they like. It seems to be a trend this year I guess because the talent level has gotten so much better that it's harder for players to make a team now that they would have made it a couple of years ago, so, they are signed to the PS now to stick around.

The fact that you think Corral is a "much better prospect" who could "turn into a Taysom Hill-type player" despite weighing 20 less pounds and last being clocked at running a 4.8 40 tells us all we need to know about how retarded you are.

He didn’t even get cut. He left the team without notice. So he’s probably done in the nfl lol

To be fair Corral has battled depression. I hope the dude is ok and I think Pats put him on nonreport list.
