I don’t know how he can go from looking like an All Pro in one game but looking like shite in the following one

I guarantee Jameis and Taysom are way better than 24..

Inexcusable to ignore this glaring hole and try to patch it with a 7th rounder

How is kamara 5?
I got downvoted. Do y'all really believe he shouldn't be higher?
Kamara is top 2 or 3 all day.

It's been way to long to not invest in receiver.

They give him some props, just don’t think he has had enough sample size yet

30. ADAM TRAUTMAN, NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Trautman earned a spot on the PFF All-Rookie team last season despite catching just 15 passes and playing fewer than 500 snaps over the course of the regular season. Part of that is an indictment on the strength of last year’s rookie tight end class, but Trautman did play well in the opportunities he received in New Orleans. That was especially true as a blocker in the run game. Trautman’s 87.1 run-blocking grade on the season led all qualifiers at the position

RE: CB
Obviously we need help here
From the top 10 slot CB list
7. BRIAN POOLE, FREE AGENT
Poole profiles as one of the more impactful free agents still available following the two best seasons of his career with the New York Jets in 2019 and 2020. He has been the 13th-most valuable cornerback in the NFL over the past two seasons (per PFF WAR) despite missing half of the 2020 season due to injury. Poole has been particularly stingy in coverage over that time frame, allowing just 472 yards in over 600 slot coverage snaps
10. NICKELL ROBEY-COLEMAN, FREE AGENT
Robey-Coleman earned his spot on this list with his stretch of play from 2016 to 2019. Across those four seasons, Robey-Coleman recorded a coverage grade of at least 74.0 each year and ranked in the 86th percentile among all slot defenders in coverage grade overall. He made plenty of positive contributions to the Rams defense in the three seasons he was there, even if his most memorable play is the missed pass interference call in the 2018 NFC Championship game against the New Orleans Saints.
I mention these positives because there weren’t many positive takeaways from his 2020 season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Robey-Coleman earned just a 51.1 overall grade in 2020 with a missed tackle rate over 20%. There is still reason to believe he can make a positive impact in the right scheme given what he has shown at previous stops.
Top 32 Outside CBs
11. RICHARD SHERMAN, FREE AGENT
There is a perception that Sherman’s better days are behind him, but entering his age-33 season, there is still plenty of room for Sherman to take a step back and still be one of the better cornerbacks in the NFL. He and Darrelle Revis are the only two cornerbacks with at least 250 targets since 2010 who have allowed fewer than 50% of those passes to be completed.
Injuries held him to just over 300 snaps for San Francisco last season, but Sherman was the highest-graded cornerback in the league (90.3 overall) back in 2019. He’s one of the more impactful free agents still on the market
13. STEVEN NELSON, FREE AGENT
Nelson was another surprise release by a team strapped for salary cap space. His addition, along with the signing of Joe Haden, helped stabilize a turbulent cornerback position in Pittsburgh over these last two seasons. Nelson ranks among the top 10 cornerbacks in the league in both completion rate allowed (53.9%) and passer rating allowed (75.1) among 68 players at the position to see at least 100 targets since 2019. There’s a reason he has received plenty of interest since his release.

Jameis wouldn't have to be much better than #24 for the team to be much better than #6....
I mean if Jameis is dropping dimes on covered receivers then we're going to the Super Bowl. But if he's the Jameis of old then I think we're going to be worse than 6... but who knows.

Given the current "unkowns" regarding who will be CB2, this is absolutely troubling.
What makes this even worse, is that there still remains a possibility that Goodell will suspend Lattimore a few games for the firearm incident.

We need an outside corner. CGJ is one of the better slot defenders in the league right now. PJ and P-rob are also both serviceable in the slot. P-rob will probably need to play a lot on the outside this year though. As of right now he is your #2 corner

Kinda baffling that they never had more visits at corner.

I’m expecting a nice year from Ruiz. Covid shortened camp his rookie year and he switched positions
PFF had him at 43.4 in pass blocking and 61.6 in the run game

Man we've got some mean MF's in the interior.
I'll be definitely interested in Ruiz this season.
I thought we ran the ball well even though teams expected it more last season.
A good sign.
