Talk about the Saints at the 70:44 mark.

Among the gems:

Been in cap hell for years

Mickey Loomis has been with the Saints since 2013

"If you disregard the 2017 draft"

"They don't value volume of picks enough and draft too many edge rushers"

"Mickey Loomis is distracted being the VP of Basketball Ops for the Pelicans who don't have a lot going on there either" He hasn't been associated with them in years, they just made the playoffs, and when he was, he admitted he really didn't do anything

"The reason why they traded so many picks this year is because they had no money for Free Agency"

Their good record over the years is due to Brees and Payton and they are a trash FO, essentially.

This is partially true. They don’t value picks enough, especially higher ones.

But I have no problem picking numerous defensive ends. Only positions that should be targeted in the first are qb’s, corners, de’s, left tackles and receivers. Unless a rare talent at another position is there, go for the money positions in the first.

FYI, they also say in this video that the Bills trading up for Josh Allen *at the time* was a bad move so that makes it a bad move, regardless of how Allen turned out.

yeah...

I hate how they trade next year's 3rd round picks to get 4th round picks this year.

Tommy Stevens was the kicker for me. Gave up picks because Payton wanted to be a dick and keep him from the Panthers. And then we cut him and he went to the Panthers anyway. And then the Panthers cut him because he sucked.

I really hate the influx of analytic dipshits in recent years that think they're wayyyyyy smarter than every single FO

they all love to twitter circle jerk and trash moves but don't come back to own it at all when they turn out wrong.

They also Howie Roseman and praise the shite out of him...despite the results

Was completely worth it. Hope they do it again in the future.

Are you referring to when we gave up a 2018 2nd to move into the 3rd in 2017 to grab Kamara? That ended up being a really good move.

And this summarize the video more than your OP did. FO is bad because their offseason/draft picks did not mirror my previous videos/articles about what players they should sign/draft

The Saints had a deep roster and took a chance on a guy to be a Taysom like player knowing TH's propensity for injury. Additionally, this FO is known for finding value in the Rookie FA pool. Was the move a bit petty? Yeah. Are people from NOLA known to be a bit petty? Yeah. There's no disconnect. Brady couldn't wait to pick up CSP's trash.

Ultimately, I feel bad for the kid who just wants to play football.

I bet they love the Jets and Jags front offices because they pick really good players every draft in the top 5

Sure the Saints "won" a lot of "games" but they didn't draft the players on OUR big board.

FAIL
