Do these writers even bother to see what a coach thinks of a player? Or do they just magically think of these things by themselves? Because it seems thats what they do.
And some of the other reporters have even said that the battle for the CB2 spot is going on and that its pretty clear that Bailey has jumped out in front.
Dumb article is dumb.
quote:
While the competition between Bailey and Robinson is real, Payton's plan for Bailey during training camp is simple: there's no need to burn out the veteran with practice reps. It's why Bailey watched the Sunday afternoon walkthrough from the sideline. "Bill Parcells used to say this and every once and a while I will reference Parcells, 'With a player like Champ we don't need to see it every day, we just need to see it once in a while,'" Payton said. "He used to say that and it made sense. That's being smart with the conditioning test for instance. It is being smart with how we practice him. I have a pretty good vision for what I think he can do for us and I think that has been communicated and I think he is really anxious to do that."
quote:
He looks fantastic," Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan told The Advertiser. "You look out there and you think he's one of those young guys running around. But he's bringing excitement to our defense and knowledge and it's awesome to add a great player like him."
quote:
He's still Champ Bailey,'' New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan told USA TODAY Sports after Saturday's training-camp practice. "He's awesome. Im sure he cant wait to show everyone that hes still Champ Bailey"

Technically Brees could be cut

These are the same dumbasses that were trying to say Roman Harper is the X-Factor for the Carolina defense this season.
They never watched a Saints game. Ever. These idiots were talking about how good his coverage skills are when they were always his biggest weakness.

Damn! I just posted a statement that I saw scrolling across the screen and was curious if anyone else had seen anything similar. Ya'll are too damn sensitive. And to the little girl that called me a troll. Take your head out of your arse and check for yourself next time. Go back to the special Olympics board. That's you dickis4inches

Funny thing is, while they both agree Bailey "lost a step", the article writer and the King video RIGHT below the article have wildly different takes on Bailey. Bedard thinks Bailey could get cut, while King said Bailey was very disruptive and will be given every chance to win the starting job.

TBH, if he is cut it shows how good the unit is if we don't need him. I promise he won't be on the streets for long, a lot of teams are scrambling for a legit NB this year.

I know you're posing that as a hypothetical but it has less than a zero percent chance of happening. He isn't washed up like every says.
This is like the Strief situation all over again. He played hurt and looked bad in 2012, then came back last year and played lights out(and looks great so far in camp this year).
People really overlook the injury issue. Like really really.

Even if he doesn't get the CB2 job, I doubt we cut him.
He still has a purpose here.

No chance he gets cut. Like Vince McMahon No Chance theme song no chance.
On top of Bailey just being better than most of our other corners, only Lewis, White, and Jean-Baptiste(if he pans out) are capable of being starters(to varying levels of success) and are under contract at least next year(in addition to Bailey).
I know everyone likes to rave about Sweeting, but Wade got 35 snaps to his 15 and neither was really great. Those are like career nickel guys at best.

Contradicting to the statement above.

Since this exist.
Conclusion: not only is he a bad troll, but also a kid troll. My guess is 18-20 years old. You read it wrong, kid troll, or you're making it up which is something I certainly wouldn't put past you, kid troll.
You know what you should try and understand? Trying to fight with people over the internet is just like the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.
My best advice is don't do it. And don't troll, kid troll.

Won't happen. The NFL Networkers are for the most part overpaid idiots so we can ignore them here.
Champ is going to have a big impact IMO.

Hey, I'm just as excited as anyone about Champ. Just what he can teach makes him worth every penny. So what are the chances he gets cut in my opinion. Probably 5%. That's why I found it so curious when I saw it. Anyway, game time cannot come fast enough. Waiting this long has everybody on their periods. Oh and 4th, that was entertaining.

Wait, didn't Peter King just say in his MMQB on Monday that Bailey had a chance to start?
