The Saints are one of two NFL unbeatens. But how good is New Orleans? We'll all find out when the Patriots visit the Dome next Monday.
How fricking long do we have to hear this!! "We'll see next week how good the Saints are."
We are 10-0, yes the pats will be tough, but win or lose, the Saints have already proven they are freakin good!

Respect won't be gratuitously poured out until we win a Super Bowl. We should accept this.
When the Saints win one, it will be then that Brees and the Saints will be the ones getting the benefit of the doubt against unproven teams, even if we have a lesser record.
There is absolutely no reason that Brady and the Pats should get more respect than the Saints right now. They are not in any way a better team than the Saints. But Brady and the Pats are proven champions over multiple seasons, and that goes a long way, whether deserved or not with regards to this season.
Brady and the Pats will always be viewed as winners (guys with championship mettle) even if they have a mediocre record. The Saints, on the other hand, are just viewed as a talented team with a really nice winning streak.

What are you complaining about?
Our best win was probably the Giants, and they turned out to not be as good as they were built up to be this season. Same thing with the Jets. The Miami game was another good game, but they crumbled in the second half. A team like the Pats doesnt do that NEAR as often. Hell, even the RAMS played us close.
This is our toughest game of the regular season. The Pats are playing very well right now. They have multiple rings, a great offense, and know how to win. This game will show us how good we really are playing the most dominant team over the past decade. It will test our D even though we are not gonna have everyone 100%, and thats what I want to see the most.
If we win, we will only gain a little bit of respect, and this will all continue. If we lose, we will be called "over-achievers" and a fluke. This is just the new way of life we have to become accustomed to as fans of the new, GOOD, Saints.
Im not a nega-Saint and I love the team. Im just trying to be real about it all.

Even then, I feel like ESPN will equate a Saints' SB victory to LSU's MNC while having 2 losses. They will find a way to cheapen it.

Some of you should get over the inferiority complex. ESPN is just pumping up the game. As well they should. The Patriots will be our toughest test by far. Saints fans and LSU fans (and I'm both) always think the national media is against them. When the Saints win a championship, things will be different.

are you really complaining about ESPN doing all they can to make the game seem more important than any other? remember, they are broadcasting the game.
eta: we all need to realize that ESPN is most concerned with promoting their brand.
