Can't make this stuff up

Do we need any other evidence that the ProBowl is an absolute joke? Peat in; Demario home.

I don't mean this as a pile on Peat thread, but he most definitely does not deserve to go. What a sham

thats ridiculous. peat has been good in the past, but this season he was definitely more project peat than pro bowler.

Right. He's not a bad player, and he had some very good seasons for us. This year though was not one of those. I heard the WWL crew the other day saying he seems like a guy who doesn't love football much, and I tend to agree

Your casual fans don't pay close enough attention to individual linemen to really tell who's playing well and who isn't. They see a name they know and vote for them. With other positions there are some stats to help make a more informed decision even if they know nothing about the player.

This has been a problem for years with fan voting and why you see a lot of the same linemen make the pro bowl almost every year for a decade.

Hopefully this jacks his value up and the Saints are forced to move on.

If any player on the Saints OL should be accorded this honor, it ought to be Ram.

So our best OL in Ramczyk didn’t make the pro-bowl, but our worst OL in Peat did make the pro-bowl?

Exactly, what I was thinking, they trade his arse now that he has good value. Some NFL team will bite now that they think this doofus is a quality OLineman.

He's PROBOWL PEAT now.

He’s TWO time Pro Bowl Peat now. He’s a solid player but kinda wrecked our season this year. Caused Drew to get hurt and helped lose the playoff game. He will get overpaid by a bad team this offseason so it won’t matter
