Minimum for payton should be what was received for gruden. Payton wont a superbowl and was more successful than gruden.

To break it down even further the Bucs gave the Raiders a 1st and second round pick in 2002 (21st and 53rd overall)
A first in 2003(32nd overall). A second in 2004 (33rd overall and $8 million cash. Originally the Raiders also wanted Warren Sapp but settled for the cash. This is what is at stake and this is why the Saints need to play hardball. A precedent was set with the Gruden trade. It is childish to even think that they would let him walk out with 3 years left on his contract only to go to a competitor, especially your highly successful Super Bowl winning coach without exacting a heavy price. The media and public in general would rake them over the coals.

Loomis is going to send 10lbs of crawfish, a bag of Zapps potato chips and in exchange get a 4th and a 6th in good gesture for Payton.

I fully expect at least one first if our front office is actually trying. And I suspect either team if they decide to move on from their current coach, would be willing to give up that for Payton. Both teams are in a position to forgo at least one first-round pick, if not two.
If we actually knew each other, I'd bet you a beer. win-win there.
