The team would never have been elite without an elite QB, therefore the only formula for winning is to play really good defense, run the ball and be able to go have a serviceable passing game. Jameis was good enough to get you there. So for any coach, having that core defense and OL set will take you a long way. One thing that will be sorely missed is Payton’s ability to control the locker room.

It's obvious Paytons success was due to Brees. Dennis Allen is going to be a great HC for the Saints.

You are hardcore retarded.

I don't blame him. He had a long, incredible NFL career. Time to retire and enjoy life.

Calls posters worthless then proceeds to give a shite take. Keep sticking your head in the sand. Yeah Allen sure has looked great as a head coach before with his 8-28 record in Oakland. The moment a new head coach came in that team improved drastically

Meh. Thanks for the Super Bowl. Then again, you had the best QB in Saints history, and a first-ballot hall-of-famer, for 15 years and you only won one fricking Super Bowl.

someone actually believes this line following a season where the Saints had a WINNING RECORD while ALL of the following quarterbacks STARTED A GAME OR MULTIPLE GAMES during the 2021 season - Jameis Winston, Trevor Siemian, Taysom Hill, AND Ian Book

They can call names all they want but at least someone told them the truth.

It was hard. They screwed up their cap. And he he left.

Sums it up.

Without Drew Brees as starting QB, as a HC Sean Payton boasts a winning record of 18-10 with the likes of Luke McCown, Teddy Bridgewater, Taysom Hill, Jamies Winston, Trevor Semian, and Ian Book as starters.

Any other stupid shite to say?
