Lots of fans are about to feel the pain I felt for over 30 years as a saints fan

Drew Brees and Sean Payton were an unusual pairing.

It sucks but its been a good ride. Think about what that man has done. He was willing to come to New Orleans right after Katrina. 4 years later he wins a super bowl. Look at the number of players he saw value in that other teams didn't see and turned them into a major component on the offense.

He would easily be the first person to go up on a Saints Mt Rushmore.

Now all the morons who wanted Sean gone get their wish. The saints most likely will never get a coach of his caliber again.

CSP is a hall of fame coach and what he accomplished in NOLA is truly unrivaled and one of the greatest sports accomplishments ever. Thank you CSP for all the memory and 16 of the Saints’s greatest seasons.

With that being said, it is the end of the best era in Saints football history. I’m not one who wished him gone, but it’s not the end of the world. There are plenty of talented coaches who could be the next CSP.

Now if he goes to the Cowboys then he will be dead to me.
