"I'm telling you: watch the Washington Commanders in this. Here's why... there's a strong possibility that there's going to be a change in ownership. And when that happens, these owners aren't tied to this head coach. I could see Sean Payton and Tom Brady..." Ryan said.

No idea is Rex is just making up crap to fill tv time, but this would fit the "mystery team" idea we heard a week or so ago

Yeah and that was from Diana Russini who I'm pretty sure has a history with that team. It makes sense.

New ownership needs a homerun hire for fans and this would probably be it. I'm not sure Brady carries much stock anymore especially after last season. Doubt Payton would go for that now that it's pretty clear Brady has hit his wall. He was terrible this past season.

Sean Payton will fail if he goes to the Wash DC Commies.

If the rumors is true about his wife not feeling safe in New Orleans, I’m not sure DC is any better.

You guys need to stop getting your rumors from the OT.

He’s not coaching here because he saw the writing on the wall for where this team was headed. No picks, no money, and no QB.

That’s the reason. Nothing more.

Keep telling yourself this, but there’s a reason Payton tried to leave for Dallas, flirted with Miami (caught tampering), and thought about Indy as well. Some of this was when Brees was still effective as a QB.

Those close to Saints brass (Underhill and the other beats) will tell you off the record Payton wanted a “franchise with juice” and a better city to reside.

He loves the power he has in NOLA (to date the franchises he interviewed do not want to give complete control), but the bottom feeding status of the franchise and city are too much of a negative to want to coach here. It’s why we can’t attract good medical staff and key people like Nielsen bail.

Moving forward, don’t expect to keep nice things very long and deep down you know it.

I think that had more to do with the fact that the Buccaneers could not run the ball at all, ever. They were dead last in every single rushing category that matters: attempts, yards, TD, yards per. Hard for any QB to succeed in such a scenario.

Then you throw in the fact that Bowles is absolutely trash as the top guy - way too conservative.

Tom's still got it. The accuracy, processing, and decision making ability is still there.

Why do people keep saying this? He threw for 4700 yards and 25 touchdowns. With a decent running game, I would take these stats on my team every year.

The difference being, this makes ZERO sense.

Payton & Brady to Kansas City is just as likely as Rex’s theory.

This is getting overblown
He has a horrible o line. Protect brady and he will be fine.
