With what the Saints went through last year at the RB position it's fully understandable the brass doesn't want a replay situation. Credit for them for getting someone in early that can get the system down and be ready when called upon.

Anyone else like the way Chris Taylor ran?

I like the way Chris ran. I don't like the way our RB's are seeming to be dropping again. I heard today that Ivory might be ready mid season to season end, that does not sound good. I pray PT23, MI28 and DS43 can stay healthy.

He ran for a ton of yards in college I thought he was going to be a good one. It never has quite worked out for the kid.

Another guy that never reached his potential. If he can put it together he could be a diamond in the ruff.

nothing definitive on Ivory Sid but speculation everywhere such as this from rotoworld...

Chris Ivory (Lisfranc surgery, sports hernia) has yet to participate in practice.
Ivory still can't pass a physical. And considering the serious nature of his injuries, we're not expecting to see him anytime soon. Ivory is a candidate for the PUP list to open the season and he isn't draftable in fantasy. Aug 15, 9:37 AM

Dude spent some time in Miami with Brown and Rickey. He had chances but never panned out. This is just a "don't lose another RB in the preseason" signing.

no he's not he was the captain of their special teams and a nice 3rd down RB, he's a legitimate threat to be the #4 RB on this team
