Assuming the Saints win out...

We need Philly to lose one more (plus a few other ifs and buts).
Remaining schedule--
@ LAR
@ NYG
Vs OAK
Vs DAL

We need Minny to lose two more.
Remaining scheudle--
@ CAR
Vs CIN
@ GB
Vs CHI

We need LA to lose one more.
Remaining scheudle--
Vs PHI
@ SEA
@ TEN
Vs SF

The Rams seem like the easiest to jump with the Eagles, Seahawks, and Titans left to play. There has to be a loss in there somewhere.

Philly having to lose only one more game appears to be the next easiest jump. Maybe the Rams do us a favor and pull the upset this weekend (followed up by a beat down from the Seahawks of course). Other than that you have to pray that the Cowboys pull off an upset, right?

But I just don't see the Vikings losing two games. Not with that schedule.

#1 is seems to be an extreme longshot but either #2 or #3 is pretty realistic.

Losing the head-to-head to LA and minny is really going to sting.

It definitely is possible if Rodgers returns in two weeks. We're Carolina fans on Sunday (if we win on Thursday).

We lead in strength of victory so most 3 way ties are in our favor, unless philly loses to OAK (AFC).

If this happens and we take care of business, we'll have the Jets at home to clinch the division.

Head-to-head is the first tiebreaker so the Vikings and Rams own that one.

Head to head is not the first tiebreaker if all 3 teams haven't played each other.

ESPN playoff generator shows the Saints getting the 1 seed with an Eagles, Saints, Vikings 3 way tie (if the Rams beat the Eagles)

Eagles 13-3
Vikings 13-3
Rams 13-3
Saints 13-3

Let’s do this shite

Saints can actually have the 1 seed by the end of the week

1) Saints beat Atl
2) Rams beat the Eagles
3) Panthers beat the Vikings

Saints then hold the tie-breakers for the 1 seed

In your scenario, the Green Bay-Minny game would be meaningless.

Saints would have the the 1 seed either way

This. And then we become Philly fans for the rest of the year because they have to stay at 13-3. If they lose another one then the H2H loses come back into the picture. You can't use head to head as a criteria unless you played all the teams you are tied with. If you have even one you didn't play then you throw that out.

We actually don't need LAR to lose, or Minny to lose two. Any 3 or 4 way tie with Philly (or potentially the Seahawks if they win the division) would do as head to head gets thrown out.

So we win out, Philly and Minny each lose one, we get the 1 seed.

Philly record will be
@LA Rams L
@NYG W
Vs. Oakland at home. Possible upset
Vs. Dal at home.. If that pass rush for dallas dominate it will be a long game for philly.. Possible upset...

Minny record will be
@. CAR L.. No way carolina go 0-3
Vs. CIN... Toss up possible upset!
@ GB... W.. U better win this one!
Vs. CHI... Toss up depends on who play harder!

LA record will be
Vs. W over philly.. There to hot right now..
@ SEA L... Seattle is playing to good on defense to lose to the rams..
@Tennessee L.. Tennessee is playing upset mode and they have a decent team to compete at 8-4
Saf.. Will lose point blank!!!

This is probably the most likely path, but that guy below you has an Armageddon prediction which is even better. I would love for the other three division leaders to limp into the playoffs.

So if we all finish 13-3 what's the tie breaker that puts us at #1. I pulled the tie breakers from NFL.com which has heat-to-head as the first. But as everyone has pointed out, that gets thrown out in the event of a 3-way tie.
