How does credit in the bank help us win going forward.

He’s got like…maybe another year?

He knows how to win and how to lead. He’s one of the most universally respected players we’ve ever had but you want me to “bitch” about him in lieu of expecting more out of Ocooksle?

Here we go typical saints diehard getting all sentimental. Yea hes a good dude. But its not 2017 anymore. We need some guys who can get to the quarterback and make plays.

Have you ever watched Micah parsons, TJ Watt, Bosa, Max Crosby, or Danielle Hunter? Those guys are freaks.

Lol nothing i said about cam or Mike not acting up til minny is false. im nowhere near a diehard these days but hey keep telling us how worthless two modern day Saints icons are in order to prop up Otrashe.

We also need dogs at wr. Look at what Garret Wilson put up for NYJ this year with fricking Zach Wilson and multiple other scrubs at QB. But but but but Carr is so bad! Too bad we didn’t trade up for him

Better blocker? Yes. That is why Treyquan is still on the team.
Better hands? No. Better WR? No.

Lmfao you just lost this argument with this statement. Proves you’re talking outta your arse. Literally the perfect example of why you need to chill tf out on Olave.

Garrett Wilson: 17 games played, 168 targets, 95 receptions, 1042 yards and 3 touchdowns

Olave: 16 games played, 138 targets, 87 receptions, 1123 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Olave was drafted one spot behind Wilson and is more productive with less opportunity. This argument is over.

The point was his quarterback situation

You probably knew that or you’re just gonna keep making excuses for Oshite. You really think CO puts up those numbers in NYJ? Do you?

Hey i hope im wrong but he’s gotta ditch this shite attitude he had most of last season. I felt like the last 3-4 games he was more engaged and enjoying himself

Mike Thomas being gone will help with this. Thomas was probably in his ear all yr about Carr and the coaching.

Malachi Corley
Ladd mckonkey
Ricky Pearsall
Malachi thrash

I'm grabbing one of these receivers.

Olave is a good but not great WR that should not be brought back once his rookie deal ends for what he will ask for.

Also, he is nowhere near worth the value of draft capital used to get him. He’s going to be a good WR in the league but never one you would say I have to have a guy like that as my best WR.

Olave is Cooks part 2 in all honesty. Another undersized and weak WR drafted from an OSU school that will put up numbers but meaningless ones in the long run.

Cooks year 2 (he was a #2 WR)
129 targets
84 receptions
1138 yards
9 TDs

Olave year 2 (he was a #1):
138 targets
87 receptions
1123 yards
5 TDs

No one was calling Cooks a legitimate WR 1 despite those stats.

Olave is just a more expensive Cooks. Typical Saints.

I don't watch a ton of college ball but how good are these guys at blocking in the run game? I think maybe one of the reasons Burns got fired was that the WR's weren't the best blockers except for maybe Bowden and Mike T even though he's not coming back.

Yea I think Garrett Wilson is great. His qb situation is shite. I also think Olave is good. I also think Carr is trash. So does everyone else in the world aside from a few face painting nerds on this board. Like everyone knows Carr is a bum. Saints board is the only place that thinks differently.

Carr is not great, that we can agree on. but he’s better than the trash heap of QB’s the jets trotted out after Rodgers went down. Anyway i hope Kubiak can get the best out of Olave AND Carr.

Kubiak will make them all better...different message and different schemes...I'm hopeful.

I am worried about Olave and his on-field behavior. He acts disinterested at times and aloof...and he's making millions and he's unhappy.

He's a #2 and that's cool but we need a #1 Colston type big who has cajohnes. Hoping Perry can step up but physically he's a year away.
