Treyquan Smith has better hands and is a way better blocker than Chris Olave.

I’d say he is properly rated, as long as you dont consider him a WR1

Olave has top 10 potential. Just needs to stay healthy and a half decent QB.

What do you consider a WR1? He's definitely the Saints' WR1.

Olave’s problem is he lacks physicality which prevents him from making tough catches consistently and gains after the catch. Dude couldn’t push a cardboard box across the street.

In that sense, yes he’s the Saints WR1. But when I think of a WR1, I think of guys like Jefferson, Chase, AJ Brown. Do you think Olave is as good as any of them?

FWIW, PFF rated top 10 most valuable WRs at the end of November, and they had olave 10th. Maybe someone has the final ranking.

So why don't you just say you are a child looking for attention?

Eh probably not that good but its hard to say as he's yet to play with a good QB/offense. I think the potential is there for him.

No. All I’m saying is when I think of a WR1, I think of a guy who can be simply unguardable at times. A guy who can take games over on offense. Is Olave that right now? Obviously he’s the best Saints WR now. So he is OUR number 1.

I'd put Lamb and Tyreek Hill in there also.

Higgins is probably a WR 1 on some teams just not with Cincinnati because of Chase.

St. Brown was highly productive this season and would be a WR 1 on some teams also, I think.

there were a few moments where Olave really made some nice catches but other moments where he had the ball hitting him in the head when he wasn't ready.

2022- 72 rec. 1, 042 yards 4 TDs on 119 targets. 14.5 yards per catch

2023- 87 rec. 1,123 yards 5 TDs on 138 targets 12.5 yards per catch

Yeah give smith that many targets and watch what he would do, much better catch % per target, and one of the best running blocking wide receivers in the league.

Smith had 136 targets in 2022 for 1196 yds (12.6 per) with 7 tds

That's basically identical soph campaigns

There are 32 WR1s in the NFL, they all can't be elite. What you're describing is an elite WR. Olave has the talent to be one.
