The Saints have been really aggressive on the UDFA market. Anything over $50,000 is a pretty significant payday for these guys.
WR Marquez Calloway $95,000
WR Juwan Johnson $85,000
OL Calvin Throckmorton $123,500
Malcolm Roach $95,000
CB Keith Washington $95,000
OL Jordan Steckler $90,000

Really haven’t kept up, who is the Butler of this class?

Calvin Throckmorton gets my vote. Started 52 consecutive games at OL for the Oregon Ducks. One sack allowed.

there was a reason the Saints wanted more time to talk to UDFAs than draft on day 3

Makes sense with Throck. He was one of if not the highly rated UDFA from a lot of peeps.

Butler as in overhyped or butler as in practice squad, has a shot to make the team
I can see Juwan Johnson and Gus Cumberlander getting overhyped - they’re both have the enticing measurements
As for a shot to make the team or PS , I like what I see from Callaway and Tino Ellis
The OL sound good but they’re hard to judge until we see em vs NFL talent

I like the juwan johnson singing myself

Juwan Johnson dealt with a wrist injury his last season at Penn State and seemed to catch the ball fine from Herbert in limited action.
Cumberlander needs to gain weight. I don’t think he developed any coverage ability and he played in a lot sub packages until his senior year that cut short.
Throckmorton needs to play right guard at the NFL level. He has a tremendous work ethic and mentality. He doesn’t have the long arms and quickness needed for tackle at that level.
Paolo is long enough to get a shot a tackle.

I also see calloway with a chance to stick

He’s who I’m most interested to see. He’s talented. The dude was stuck at Tennessee with their trash arse offense and quarterback play.

The two wrs are intriguing, hopefully roach balls out..I'd be happy hobo if all 3 stick

I watched Cumberlander tape vs Auburn, it was uninspiring
Saints seem like a great team for Johnson. They can find creative ways to get mismatches for him

Yeah I love johnson s size and leaping ability
At this point it's what 1 or 2 things can a guy do well
He is big and can go up and get the ball
I look at him as a better ran Arnold type
Not saying he has to play tight end

He got washed out a lot in the run game in that game.
