They made the superbowl last year and a big part of that was the georgia rookies they drafted. I mean if you get guys with talent who won together at a big time SEC school- its not a bad strategy.

Not sure what the actual stats say, and moving back to the 15 has obviously contributed to extra point struggles, but kicking has felt like it’s in a horrible place the last few years. I’m not surprised some proven organizations are addressing an important position.

Some kickers were garbage last year and position is more important now with extra points backed up. Can’t afford to miss those

Lol no it wasn’t. Jordan Davis was widely viewed as a disappointment last year. Go look at all the articles about him this off-season. It’s all stuff like “Davis intends to answer his critics in his second season” or “eagles still have faith in Davis despite an inconsistent rookie season.”

Dean had like 8 tackles all year. He barely played.

That’s just a blatantly incorrect statement that those two had any impact on the Super Bowl run.

The Georgia defenders all may end up great, but thinking they’ll be all great pros because they were all on a great college defense coached by one of the greatest defensive coaches of all time is just stupid, and not what history says will happen.

Davis played really well until he got hurt and Dean was very active on special teams but struggled a bit gettung starter snaps so fine ill give you that argument. But saying not to draft guys from major programs with great defense is just silly. If thats the case everyone at alabama drafted on defense is over rated but history telks us thats just not true. Honestly no offense this sounds like a bitter Im a tiger fan and im just pissed they’re drafting UGA player rant. If this happened with LSU I doubt you would say a word.

Somebody at NFL Network reading the boards.

"Saints picking next, with a pick that originally belonged to Jacksonville
... which is why we're going to break."

what is your reasoning for that statement, just curious? or is it just your opinion?

Is it weird but he kind of seems like poorer version of Derek Carr. Not only cause hes from Fresno Stare but the way he plays and accuracy. I doubt he does anything, hopefully he doesn’t end up on practice squad but lets see.

I guess they're hoping he will be a low cost number 2 after next season

Bet on a ton of late night Fresno state games last year. He doesn’t turn the ball over and can move an offense down the field. decently athletic as well. Is on the shorter side and doesn’t have a rocket arm but can still put the ball on his target.
