Second half the offense looked competent. It’s clear that Dalton should be the starter. No moral victories, but with AK41 and MT13 back (hopefully), I feel a lot better than a week ago.

It did and Dalton is clearly better than injured Winston.

I don't know if he's better than healthy Winston.

I do know this is basically the best version/game you'll get with Dalton, and over the course of the season, he'll be a mediocre QB.

So I see little reason for getting hopes up.

This version of Dalton beats the panthers and probably the Bucs. He also wins today if not for the refs.

The Bucs defense would've killed Andy if the Vikings got to him and even made him fumble right before the half

I think healthy Winston is a better overall QB, but Dalton is better for a Carmichael offense. He knows how to hit those conservative plays, Winston gets a little anxious and wants to take the big plays. The offense really isn’t designed for that. Dalton should be the guy going forward until/unless he starts shitting the bed

Also, Ingram needs to be the 3rd RB. Murray is a lot more explosive, and Ingram appears that he just didn’t have it for 10+ touches a game

So if Winston gets anxious and take the big plays what do you call that by Andy Dalton on 2nd down on the drive that stalled where Lutz saved it by making 60 Yard FG

Dalton is the guy I think. He just distributes the ball more efficiently. If they are just going to handcuff Jameis with the short stuff, just play Dalton. He does that better

Dalton had one great drive, a huge fumble, and the Saints running game with Murray killed the Vikes, but Dalton gets all the love. Jameis had better drives against Atlanta than what Dalton had today.

Dalton had a few underthrown balls that coulda been td’s or big plays. I think Dalton should be qb while Jameis gets healthy, but let’s not act like Dalton was great. This is more about people just hating Jameis so anything decent from Dalton and people would act like Jameis should never play again.

He had 236 yards and a TD. This is Andy Dalton and it’s enough if we get healthy and cut out the mistakes

A worse roster won 9 games with Winston and Taysom.
