Two terrible safeties in the back and a dline that has been absolutely getting no pressure. Davenport has 0.5 sacks. Peyton Turner the great Payton 1st round pick hasn't even seen the field. Onyemata is a non factor. Old man Cam Jordan still the only guy producing anything. Allen killed his only asset in one offseason.

Offense and STs failed us in these games. It’s an offensive league, defense kept you close enough to win.

And that's not even touching the 2 pick-6s to Az, or the Int in the endzone in the 1st qtr that would have been a FG.

Hell, just imagine if Dalton throws that pass away and we kick the FG there. The end of the game approach is completely different when down 8 w a minute left at the 30.

Chew on this WW79

In Drew’s last four seasons, he threw 8, 5, 4, & 6 INTs in 1,793 total pass attempts.

Winston has 5 INTs and Dalton has 4 already this season

Noodle Drew went 32-10 those last 4 seasons with less talent. Yea there weren’t many fireworks offensively, but we sustained drives, controlled the clock and kept our defense off the field

And this season our offense ranks top 10 in many categories. Defense played well enough to win in every loss except cincy. The elephant in the room is the turnovers

Defense played ok the first few weeks, but Winston just constantly would go 3 and out and ruined those efforts. It’s been a complete shite show starting with the Vikings with the wheels coming off the last few weeks. No pressure and no turnovers, can’t get off the field on 3rd downs.

Onyemata finally got a sack on Thursday.

I feel like those guys on the inside really have to start playing better.

That's an area that should be addressed in the offseason. How much I don't know cuz obviously there's going to be a decent list of areas to improve on.

Street got one sack vs. The Vikings.

Those guys are going to have to be dialed in to try and help cool off Josh Jacobs when we play the Raiders he's been on a freaking tear lately.

having a mini bye pretty much at the halfway point of the season is cool.

it's cliche but it couldn't have come at a better time.

We are 4th best in the league in 3rd down defense. Middle of the pack in pressures. It shouldn’t be this bad

Marcus Davenport, 2018 first round pick: 0.5 sacks
Payton Turner: 2021 first round pick: 0 sacks

That's bad, folks. Really bad.

That is the worst part. Allen still runs the defense, he’s just half-assing it now and wasting Nielsen’s focus on the DL which has cratered.

It's the players, not the defensive coaching.

Good thing he didn’t play safety for us. We have been getting killed all year by whatever receiver goes against our nickel. We went from a plus defender at that spot to one of the weakest links on the D now. They tried Evans at the spot and he would give up 1st after 1st on 3rd down and now they have a washed Harris doing the same.

Good point.

He fit pwrfectly into allen's defense. He was equally good against the run and pass.

I wonder what his snap distribution is with philly. I haven't watched any of their games.

I will say it's way more than just missing cgj. No one on the saint's d has performed up to par.

Lattimore has had a down yr.
The entire d line has had a down yr.

Demario isn't making as many plays as other yrs.

The safeties are a downgrade. Roby has been very disappointing. I've never been a big roby guy.
