Right down the middle again

He threw that ball behind him. Should have been a fumble
Posted on 12/28/25 at 12:32 pm to TigerChief94
How in the world is that not grounding
Posted on 12/28/25 at 12:32 pm to Neilfish
Why would the WH call that incomplete. He can’t rule on that. It was a backward pass

That's a backwards pass
He threw it off a lineman's head... that's an illegal touching penalty

Wasn’t backwards, but seems like that’s grounding. Was that a TE?
Posted on 12/28/25 at 12:33 pm to Shooter
It’s either a backwards pass or a penalty for ineligible receiver right? It hit #70 in the head.
If neither of the two, it’s intentional grounding. It didn’t go beyond the line of scrimmage and there was no eligible receiver in the area.

If it wasn't backwards it was illegal touching or grounding.
I mean wtf??

These refs have no interest in this game. They just ready to leave
Posted on 12/28/25 at 12:34 pm to rt3
Refs and saints coaches just ignoring a backwards pass that didn’t make it anywhere near the line of scrimmage. Even if we don’t recover it keeps them from kicking a FG.
Announcers were also clueless.

Refs are checked out. Reffing like it’s preseason

Either ineligible receiver or intentional grounding. How the hell that wasnt a penalty is crazy
Posted on 12/28/25 at 12:35 pm to MetArl15
Also why is the ref blowing it dead. Aren’t they trained to let the play continue so as to allow a review.
Posted on 12/28/25 at 12:35 pm to rt3
quote:only if intentional touching. That obviously wasn't intentional. The bigger problem is that it was extremely close to being a backwards pass. If a review determines it was, the Titans get the ball where their OL recovered it and are maybe out of field goal range.

Its a Fumble and Penalty if the saints did it. Automatic loss of posession. 15 yards and Titans get the ball at their 20

They shouldn’t have blown the whistle unless it was obvious. It wasn’t obvious to the players at all
