Is he a starting guard in the NFL

Irrelevant. He was drafted by no one for a reason.

We contacted him. He wanted to be a Cowboy. Let it go.

Exactly that's why you draft him in the 7th round.

It'll be the same as "Man, Archie would have been good if he had some pieces around him."

Or you take him in the 7th round and have your future at guard.

These rating and draft grades mean nothing. I would love to see a list of UDFA from the 3 years ago who are still on a 53 man roster.

I would bet more UDFA's made the team and made more contributions than our draft class from 3 years ago.

2014 draft class:
Brandin Cooks - still with us
SJB - Seattle practice squad, future all-pro
Khairi Fortt - out of the league
Vinnie Sunseri - out of the league (sorta)
Ronald Powell - out of the league
Tavon Rooks - out of the league

UDFA:
Willie Snead - stole from the Browns

that's all.

2014 UDFA Class also had
Kasim Edebali, DE, Boston College
Brandon Coleman, WR, Rutgers
Pierre Warren, S, Jacksonville St - played more than Sunseri
Brian Dixon, CB, Northwest Missouri State

See our UDFA's haul was actually better than our draft

Edebali showed promise last season

Coleman is up in the air but he's contributed

Dixon is decent CB depth and started some games

Snead speaks for himself

Nothing amazing there but they've shown some promise

That's what you should expect

1 starter 2 rotation guys and some back end depth

I really want to believe but in reality the Saints have been spiraling to mediocrity and I see no end in sight.

I am a big fan of the Saints. I just don't see it getting better this year...

What team did Dangerfield play for in college? I don't even remember LSU ever defending a receiver named Dangerfield all last year.
