NFL.com offensive power rankings

Lost it at "Steelers look scary." But then I remembered, they did draft Jdobbs. 6th is pretty disrespectful IMO

Alright, now I'm definitely convinced you're either josh Dobbs or a homosexual josh-Dobbs stalker.

Fair if you think losing cooks is big.

I doubt that. This is one of the most talented offenses that CSP has had to work with. The depth at OL & RB is absurd. He's had top 3 offenses with less talent than he has this year.

So the patriots, steelers, Falcons, raiders, and Cowboys will all have a better offense?

Those teams will have good offenses. Hard to argue with that. A couple, a good argument could be made for better offenses. Pats and Falcons for example.

But the Saints are not the hot cool team to write about.

Adam Schein "too early guaranteed" that we'll finish last in the division so...

That's cool I guess.

Already, the Saints have their scariest offense in years. Add a WR before week 1 and they will be quite literally unstoppable. Not enough can be said about how valuable our backfield and great OL will be. 2009 we ran the ball extremely well, it helped our defense and Drew doesn't feel like he has to do everything (less INT's). There isn't a hole in this offense unless you wanna argue we need a WR.

Yeah, the Killer B's will be scary on offense assuming they all stay healthy. Not to say they'll be the best, but don't laugh off the notion of them being mentioned amongst the best. They are talented and seasoned.

I will say that, based on recent history, the top 7 are definitely the top 7. Big drop off after that number.

The Steelers also have TWO top 3 players at their position. Arguably both the best players at their position. Saints have no skill players that can even compare to AB or Leveon.

Depends if they're talking yards or points.

If it's yards it's an EXTREMELY safe bet we finish top 5. Under Payton 5th was our worst finish, and we've had more 1st place finishes (7) than other finishes combined (2nd, 3rd, and 2 5ths).

Far and away the best team in the league since 06 in putting up yards and it's not even close.

In fact we've been so dominant in gaining yards we haven't been below 400 since 2010, and we only had 4 years under 400 (2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010), and only 2 years under 393 (2007 and 2010).

Now if we are talking points, we've had much more variance there and have finished as low as 12th before (iirc we've had an 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th place finish since 06).

No guarantees we finish top 5 here especially since 13 and 14 were two of our worst years. But we've had 3 1st place finishes and a few other top 6 finishes.

We've also only had 2 years under 25 points. You could probably guess the years (2007 and 2010).

One last note is we've finished postive 3 times in turnover margin, and only 1 year was high in the positives. Again we all know what year that is.

exactly. Losing Cooks kinda sucks, but make no mistake about it. The Saints upgraded their O significantly this offseason. We replaced Cooks with a very solid deep ball threat in Ginn. And I think Kamara alone is more valuable in the Saints O than Cooks is alone. We desperately needed a pass catching back to return this O to the glory days of 09',11'.

So the number 1/2 offense in the NFL upgrades over the offseason with Kamara, AD, Ginn, Warford, and Ramcyzyk and all of the sudden is the 6th best? Very unintelligent ppl downvoting a 5 star thread

This year screams about potential to be balanced, barring health. No more of these 650+ passing attempts a year. I'm saying more like 600 passes with 460 rushes

Brees
600 attempts, 70% completion
420 completions. 8.4ypa, 5040 yards

Ingram
210 rushes, 4.9ypc, 1029 yards

Kamara
80 rushes, 5.3ypc, 424 yards

Peterson

170 rushes, 4.6ypc, 782 yards
