NFC South= NO DEFENSE

Granted the season is young but still...
The Panthers are showing you can have a good front seven but a bad backend can give it all away.
The NFC South has four of the five worst scoring defenses in the NFL, all giving up at least 29 points per game. The Panthers, best in the division in scoring defense, rank 28th in the NFL at 29.5 points/game, following by the Falcons (31.0) in 29th, Bucs (32.0) in 31st and Saints (32.5) in 32nd. Only the Colts, ranked 30th, keep the division from having the four worst defenses in the NFL.
What's more, the division has the NFL's worst record outside its division, with a 3-7 mark so far, including an 0-3 mark by the Bucs. The closest division is the AFC South, which is 4-8, and the AFC East is the only other division with a losing record, at 4-6. Three divisions are at .500, with the NFC East dominating at 7-1 and the AFC West at 9-5.

Yea but look at the teams ATL and NO have played.
ATL has played:
TB: 22nd best offense
Oakland: 4th best offense
Saints: 6th best offense
Carolina: 5th best offense
N.O. has played:
Oakland: 4th best offense
Giants: 7th best offense
Falcons: 1st best offense
S.D: 14th best offense
My point is N.O. and ATL are better defensively than this might indicate. Both of us have played damned good offenses through 4 early weeks.

Don't ever group our World Champion Saints with your putrid organization.
PS - Have you ever thought the offensive stats of your opponent are artificially high because your defense sucks?

Normally I'd agree with this claim. Oakland is a serious offense with a solid running game, Giants didn't do anything against NOLA so clearly their offense is highly ranked for other reasons, Atlanta has a top 3 wideout and another good wideout in Sanu. The teams both have played are serious offensive threats

Oh cmon - there are a few times where I actually try and post here and not troll or be an arse. You gotta admit that NO and ATL has played some damned good offenses through 4 weeks, at least.

ATL is gonna find out this weekend by going @DEN. If, somehow, we pull of a win there. The answer is unquestionably, "no".

This will be a very good measuring stick. Can't say I'm pulling for the dirty birds, but hope it's competitive
Playing AT Denver is where it gets tricky

Their OL is playing well, that is where it was failing them last year with bad center play. They're legit offensively

The two big huge issues that's kept us from being a great offense last year are completely fixed. Most saints fans are idiots so y'all probably don't know what they are, but they are fixed so you should be afraid.

Care to elaborate, hot shot?

We fixed offensive play calling getting predictable by mid season for opposing defenses?

Your conclusions gleaned from statistics over a statistically insignificant 1/4th of the NFL season remind me of a saying popular in the US amongst 1950s white collar men:
Statistics are like women: once you get them down you can do anything with them.
Saber-metrics be damned, there's only one stat that matters: W&Ls.

Ill give you a hint buddy one regards the red zone and one regards big people. A smaller one to another degree involves people that play the same position as Julio. Think you can figure out this brain buster?

Bruh, I'm a Falcons fan. Problem last year was mainly terribly predictable play calling last year by KS and his inability to adapt to defenses. Let's wait till mid season to declare us fixing everything.

Just hope we screen pass the shite out of them opening the game. Need to keep them from pinning their ears back.

Falcons getting gashed by Denver.
Not sure they'll finish the game.

Getting gashed? 76 totals yards in the first half is getting gashed?
