I wouldn’t even chance Penning going 1v1 against him. He’d have help immediately from the 1st snap.

They’ll help him but again he needs to learn to be able to hold his own and progress. There will be times especially during 4/5 wide where we wont be able to help. Next week will be big for him.

It shouldn't matter if the 1st week defense shows up. But if Allen's game plan on defense for a rookie QB is to rush 4 and play zone then it will be a long day.
