Biggest news today: Michael Thomas was out on the field practicing for the first Saints training camp practice.

If he is back at 100%, this team goes 11-6 next year. He is by himself two games better for us. Our defense is still very good and we were 5-2 before Jameis went down and he was throwing to one of, if not the worst, WR corps in the NFL. This opens up the offense so much and doesn't put pressure on the defense to have to hold opponents to 10-17 points to just win a game.

and Taysom had even less...

He had to have had the worst ankle injury of all time.

Your revisionist history is so fun Chad.
Jameis had the carolina game where key players and coaches were out. He also played without his full starting oline too

It can be when you don't address it properly

Cookies for Jameis. Taysom had even less.

Taysom didn't play 4 of his 7 games without his starting center, Jameis did.
Just stop with the dishonesty Chad. You can't even provide examples.

I mean it's been reported that he basically shredded his ankle. It was bad injury.

And if you recall the play when it happened, that would not be a surprise. Rollup injuries are some of the worst injuries in the game.
He also had a hamstring injury when he first tried to return, then had another surgery late in 2021. So seeing 2 years for an ankle sprain does took bad, but when you put all the circumstances I can see why it took so long.
With that said, if only he would have had the surgery in Feb 2020, or been honest w/ the team when he was behind schedule and had it in April/May 2020

Might have been one of the worst WRs corps in franchise history.
I am not privy to the saints WR corps prior to like 2000 outside of names like Danny Abramowitz so I can't say for certain but boy was it a weak unit last year.

TD hall of famer SFP posted a link to a doctor talking about MT’s injury and basically yea it was really bad
Saw a couple videos, he looks fine. No brace or wrap either so that’s very encouraging. We’ll see once he’s off PUP and is going full blast
Either way, this is great news

Any videos of him running? Was a pretty terrible injury.

I wish Morstead was still on the team.
