He played a lot of ILB in college, but he's a 43 SLB and a 34 ILB.

Passrusher. Beast!!!

I like any LB with a pulse so this guy fits the bill.

The Saints needed some athleticism at the LB slot and this kid looks to be perfect.

Payton said Martez Wilson would start out at the Strong-side linebacker spot.

If he can defend the RB out the flat we will be vastly improved on defense. It would be an added bonus if he could put pressure on QB's which our crop of OLB's last season seemed completely incompetent. Casillias will be the OLB we blitz, as we saw he was great at doing in the pre-season last year.

Like the pick, we needed more speed at LB.

Several Mocks had him going in the middle of the second round. Great value pick and obviously addresses a position of need as well.

I thought he was the clear #3 4-3 SLB. We discussed him as a 1st possibility way back. Then no but didn't think he would make #56 muchless 72

Starts SLB day one. Casillias WLB. Shanlee might only be around if he takes the lowball offer.

Incredible physical skills, but needs to get his head on straight and play hard all the time. He's a SAM in the 4-3, but probably a MIKE in the 3-4.

Starts SLB day one. Casillias WLB.

Sounds great to me with Vilma in the middle.

Wilson Vilma Cassilas
Jordan Ellis Rogers Smith

I like it. Like it a lot.

Ho-LEE shite! I wanted the Saints to take this guy in the first round ... a/c to the cheap USA Today Draft Guide I have, he is the 2d ranked OLB, was the #28 overall prospect, is 6'4", 250 lbs, and runs a 4.42 (which sounds like BS, but, that's what he supposedly runs.) This shaping up to be the best Saints' draft ever.
