After he returned from his early season hiatus, he has been an absolute monster.

388 Rush yards on 79 attempts and 4RuTD. 4.9 yards/attempt
120 Rec yds on 11 catches and and 1 TD 10.9 yards/catch

He can block like a beast.
He isn’t greedy.
He isn’t threatened by AK41.
He isn’t a diva.
He is a tough competitor.
He has fun.

He's huge for the culture and chemistry of the team.

He helps pump up the whole team.

Only 347 yards from being the Saints all time rushing leader and 2 TDs from being the Saints all time rushing TD leader.

I've never been a big fan of his because I just don't think he's that explosive and we've let better pure runners go like Chris Ivory and Khiry Robinson but Mark Ingram's locker room presence can't be understated especially his mentoring of a young guy like Kamaro.

Ingram also has incredibly underrated pass blocking skills. He rarely seems to make a mistake there and you know that's huge for Drew and Sean.

What?
That dude couldn't stay healthy to save his life.

He isn't even on an NFL roster.

Idk what you are seeing but Ingram is one of the best backs in the league. Better that ivory or khiry ever were.

There’s a huge difference between being a better runner and being a better running back. Those 2 MIGHT have been better downhill runners, Khiry because he was bigger and Ivory because he was faster, but there’s no question that Ingram is a better Back than both of them. He is worth every penny we do pay him and will be worth every penny we will (hopefully) pay him.

Thanks Mrs. Ingram, good to hear from you again.
Mark is having another great year and we couldn't be happier about it.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Pretty easily too. Ingram is a top 5 back in the league

5th in the league in rush yards last year and has 42 less carries than kareem hunt.

4th rb in ypc

2nd in rush tds

He's can cut on a dime and is really fricking good in the screen game. He doesnt have elite speed but he's more than fast enough and quick enough to get huge chunks of yardage.

We better pray that we can keep mark.

It’s not a coincidence that once Ingram came back our defensive numbers improved. He allows us to grind out the clock, extend drives, and keep our defense fresh and off the field. He’s invaluable

What sucks for Ingram, besides where he went to college, is that he could not get healthy to save his life his first few years here.
That, and Payton refused to commit to using him.

Once he got healthy and the necessary reps, he's been a beast.
And fans still tried to explain away his production by calling it a "contract year."

Since he has developed his pass blocking and pass catching, he has become a lot like Pierre Thomas, who I always said was a poor man’s Matt Forte. He’s a great runner, has turned into a good pass catcher, great pass blocking, and he has great balance and patience for letting his blocks develop. He’s also a damn good teammate, which is something you can’t teach. He doesn’t have great top end speed, but that’s simply a luxury for a running back as opposed to necessity.

I think we will. He signed with us 4 years ago at a pretty decent hometown discount. Considering his age & position...I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up here at a reasonable price.

I think he enjoys hanging with Kamara & splitting carries with him.

So....our offense is possibly breaking two more records within the next three games, maybe four or five max?

Most players would have had a hard time taking a backseat to a young stud like Kamara, but Ingram is his biggest fan.

I hope like hell we can pay him
