He was shite both Saints stints. He can retire an Eagle for all I care. Wish we would have paid Vonn Bell instead of him anyway. Bell was cheaper and could do the job better.

i think the OP is full of shite on this, it makes no sense he restructured his contract a few weeks ago if he was retiring and wanted to do it in philly. if that were true he would have just signed with philly and then retired

Well first off, he was under contract with the Saints, so he couldn't just sign with Philly to retire.
Second, he restructured to get paid his money while retiring. Had he retired without the restructure, he got none of his money from this year, and would not have counted against the cap for his salary.
This was planned to pay him and get him out. Saints were stupid if they gave him any non-guaranteed money for him to retire.
In the end, Jenkins was mediocre for his entire time as a Saint with the exception of maybe his rookie year. He will be easily replaceable, despite what some may state on here.

ok that makes sense, but he cannot retire as an eagle unless he signs a contract with them first, thats how it works

Yeah he was shite you dumb frick. Look at that 2011 playoff when he gave up that 47 yard catch to Vernon Davis to set them up at the Saints 20. Or instances like against the Raiders were he was getting his arse beat play after play against Darren Waller. I've only seen him do good against one guy which was Gronkowski. But that guy is more artificial than man and can't run anymore.

Jenkins wasn’t shite but his best years as a pro came with the Eagles. He was up and down during his 1st and last tenures as a Saint
