Second, he restructured to get paid his money while retiring. Had he retired without the restructure, he got none of his money from this year, and would not have counted against the cap for his salary.
This is total bullshite
The cap hit doesn’t go away when a player retires you retard. He took a pay cut to the league minimum with no bonus payment or void years added.
He did this to help with the cap this year and his dead cap hit for this year and next year(last year of his contract) is peanuts.

Yes and no. He would owe back the signing bonus portions of the team wanted for the next two years left on his contract if he retired. His base salary cap hit doesn’t stay on the books l, so not sure your point.
He did it to help perhaps, but it also came with the Saints not pushing for him to pay back the prorated portions of his signing bonus monies for the last two years.
In the end, he does still hit the cap unless the Saints recoup that signing bonus money, but his base salary comes off the books.

You do realize everybody in the locker room agreed with Jenkins, except for our HOF QB who thought differently for exactly one day.

Sad when morality is frowned upon in this world. But noodle caved.

Nah. You rednecks are too pussy to say the N word so you replaced it with thug. Just admit it.

For people on the right politically, which is most of this board, “thug” in this context applies to any person of color who speaks out on social issues.
If I’m not mistaken, Jenkins actually went about things in respectable way with having discussions and the NFL starting positive programs.

Saying negative things about people of color gets heavily upvoted. Saying positive things about people of color gets heavily downvoted.
You’ve been around here long enough to not be surprised by this. The ratio on that comment is actually not bad.

I think the problem here is you think your warped view of morality should apply to everyone.
