No longer special, just another kicker.

Dont care
He is still far and away better than the Brian Johnsons we had last year.

Mort. He was special.

Not elite. Not bad enough to get rid of.

Are we talking about the same Lutz who recently hit a game-tying 60 yard FG against the Vikings?
You know, 60 yards, the same length of HOFer Morten Andersen's career longest FG? No longer special?
Nobody is perfect every game. Please tell me I'm missing the joke/sarcasm/troll.

no one is perfect, shite happens and FG are never sure things
the fail there was the coaching not the missed FG.
the saints were clearly calling plays designed to kick a field goal rather than try to get a TD and that was obvious. you dont run the ball with no chance for a 1st down, and then call a TO you need to save, if you are trying to get a TD, you only do that if you are intentionally settling for a FG

Lutz is literally in the bottom 3 in NFL starters in FG%.
Greg Joseph is the only K worse with 10+ attempts.
Even forgiving the one 60+ miss against Minn, that only moves him up one place. 75% is not NFL-level in today's game.
There are 15 kickers that at 88% or higher. Only one of those have not attempted a 50+.

People ignore facts so they can see what they want to see

it about being dependable. Cant miss the 30 and 40 yarders for a 5 million cap number

Has the longest double doink in NFL history.

All of this. Lutz is trending in a bad direction. Hopefully he can turn it around, but im now worried

Yes he is. Just because he’s missed a few kicks doesn’t mean he won’t regain his form. Have you forgotten the 60 yard bomb he nailed right down the middle? Not many kickers can do that. Lutz will be fine relax. Most teams in the league would kill to have him.

Inside the 40 should be 100% automatic
No excuse for missing that kick today.
Just glad it didn’t cost us the game again

Could be worse, we could have the Carolina kicker

How generous of you. The muthafukah was only kicking from mid-logo. There hasn't been a Saints kicker since Andersen that coaches had that much confidence in to send him out, not once, but twice at that length mid-logo.
Y'all are really tripping today. Throw out all the stats you want. Bottom 3? Let me know when Lutz's a real bottom 3, like ex-Saint Chip Lohmiller who couldn't make an extra point and got cheered the one-time he did. Or like the Browns' Zane Gonzalez who missed left & right to ensure a '18 Saints win. That's bottom 3 level kicking, not a guy coaches confidently send out mid-logo.

I’ve got a stat for ya. Vagisil is the number one treatment for a sore vagina. Go rub some on your gaping hole. Then come back and let us all know who his replacement should be halfway through the season.

he missed 1 kick lol
And he barely missed it. All of his other kicks were down the middle.

shite even Justin Tucker, the GOAT, missed a PAT to give us a win.

I don't know why you addressed that to me. I'm on Lutz' side. It's the rest of these short-term memory muthafukahs in this thread who don't know what an good kicker looks like and thinks he's replaceable.
