Wr isn't a premium position? What

Why are you posing this as a question when I very clearly made a statement? WR is not a premium position.

QB, OT, EDGE, CB are premium positions.

We were down 2 positions 1 drive vs the Vikings, and olave didn't catch a pass on that drive to cut it to 1 possession. He caught 4 vs Vikings, so that's 4 more

no it isnt, would you prefer i use the word affordable?

you can buy a steak when all you have is hot dog money but then your too broke to eat the rest of the week.

saints needed more draft picks not less and giving up picks to reach for WR, albeit worth the price, was a luxury we couldnt afford and it has shown itself this year to be

And?

Let me know in terms of "value added" how things shake out.

How are the packers doing this year with an elite qb and no WRs?

Right. It's almost like you need both

You do, but one is far more important than the other. Stop moving the goalposts. WR is a luxury. QB is a need.

You're right. Because he's Marvin Harrison.

Non sequitir.

I never said we should have drafted a QB, just that trading that much for a WR that is not Julio Jones/Calvin Johnson-level was a shite move.

Olave is what was advertised. The most nfl ready WR of the draft. Best route runner in the draft.

That said if the saints knew how this year was playing out the deal would not have been done IMO.

And look I like Olave. Would like him even more if he was a natural 2nd round pick. But I like him

Olave was mocked as a top half the 1st round pick in a lot of mock drafts. Saying you would have liked it better in the second round is stupid.

Would be great if we got Chase, Burrow, and Jefferson as well. They would have been great late 1st round picks.

Such a dumb arse poster.

If the Saints finish with 7 or 8 wins then Olave is better than who we would have picked in the 2023 draft.
