Loomis is a much bigger problem for the Saints than Allen.

I have seen many threads about Allen needing to be fired. While I believe this to be true Loomis needs to be fired first and is the much bigger issue to the overall success of the Saints. He has put this organization in a dire situation. His handling of the draft, trades, and contracts have been terrible and irresponsible. Even if we do fire Allen right now are you sure you want Loomis to hire the next coach. Also, again it was Loomis who hired Allen without going through a more detailed and proper coaching search. Everything the guys does is bad, he completely mortgaged the present and future of the Saints and it will take years to get this ship corrected. I just hope someone can get into Gayle's ear for her to fire him. I fear he is too close to her and she doesn't have the overall football knowledge to see the damage he has done.

I believe this as well. Isn't Loomis deeply tied into the Pelicans as well as the Saints (and other Benson family business if I had to guess)?

This isn't true, but Loomis is still a problem. I think he's out of touch now on how to build a roster and I don't think he's up to the task building it from scratch.
We need a GM with a fresher vision.
