Loomis might be right. The right people might be in the building
Unfortunately they aren't in the positions they need to be in
Maybe Ireland should be the GM in complete capacity
We have the right DC...problem is he was promoted to a position he didn't deserve or earn and is eroding all that culture he was hired to maintain
And offensively I'm sure almost any assistant we have would be an upgrade and more capable than Pete

He’s just being positive. He knows if DA doesn’t start winning he’s gone. DA knows that too. He just doesn’t want to publicly lash out at him or call him out.

Loomis is not the type to call people out in the media. He has said over the years they evaluate things over the offseason in its proper time.
Ill freak out if we still have the same people in place next year.

Who hired Allen and Pete
Who pursued Desaun Watson and Luckily lost out
Who almost traded for and extended Carr before "luckily" only signing him to a bad contract that we will be stuck with
Who drafted Ruiz
Who traded a future first for Penning costing us Jalen Carter or the ability to trade up possibly for Stroud
Who backloaded all our contracts with dummy years and bigger cap hits to where 90% of the roster is untradable or uncuttable
Who agreed to the overpay extensions for Peat and Taysom Hill
The whole handling of Michael Thomas in general plus his new contract
I'm sure there is more but at what point does Loomis also feel some heat. 8-9...9-8 isn't the bar for any respectable organization. Saints have been in the worst division in football for the last 2 or 3 years and they keep patting themselves on the back for a few balls bouncing the wrong way in a division where almost .500 or a game over it will win the thing

This. People need to relax. We all want change. But what good is it going to do to rake DA over the coals publicly? It would make us feel better, sure, but it wouldn’t help anything or anyone. And the next coach we hire might see that and look elsewhere if he sees a GM shite talking his coach and not supporting him.

and dont forget he was trying to sign that $300m contract with watson but didnt quite have enough to not get outbid.
and along with that, he publicly let it out that ceedy duce was being offered in that trade so it poisoned him on staying here.
