They had to trade him. If he punched MT again, MT would be out next year as well.

He might of been the most important player on the team.

Hey when we get a STs contributor next year instead of CJJ making plays for this current year, it’ll all be worth it

We had a reason. We didn’t want to pay him. Instead we gave his money to the shell of Honey Badger.

Man was literally telling the front office he was the best nickel in the league, had the coverage data to back it up, and Loomis and Co. told him to get fricked.

This is a trash can organization at this very moment in time. Head coach with zero upside, future quarterback not on the roster.

He brought a swag and energy that this defense is sorely missing. With him, the Saints have at least two more wins this year. It sucks.

Not defending the tard you replied to but I think the trade was to get something for him because he only had this year left on his contract and they were not gonna pay what he was asking.

I hated the trade but the general consensus amongst the sporting press was that this was a good trade for the Saints.

I would agree but everything the Saints have done is about winning now. Dumping him for carnival change is not fitting that alone.

I guess they expexted him to just flop as an eagle. I felt like he was worth a second and a third or a second and a fourth something like that.

Maybe just one second or third. Certainly more then a 5th and 6th.

The fact he signed long term in Philly makes it even worse. That should of been another late pick.

What? I have not seen one thing written saying it was a good trade for us lol. More like the Eagles out right stole a good young player. We could have still got a comp pick for him if he left. That and him being on the team this year would have been worth it to me.
