Last year we "got right" against the Raiders 24-0

Then proceeded to lose to the Ravens 27-13 and the Steelers 20-10.
Though enjoyable, I'm not sure what to take away from yesterday and we'll see if Allan and Co. can build off this win. Texans is very winnable but the Jags game will show where we really are.

No one believes that Carmichael became a brilliant play caller in 6 days… so we’ll see what we’ll see.

IMO, coaching staff realized they were on the hot seat and responded. Hopefully they don't get complacent now.

I think that’s right but the fact that they had to find themselves on the hot seat before they would perform well, tells me a lot

As I pointed out in another thread, they didn't actually change much schematically. They did run the ball more, but:
Only ran Play Action on 4%(!!) of snaps
Only ran Motion on 20%
(Miami runs Motion on the vast majority of snaps unless they are going fast)

Wow… yeah you wonder if Pete got lucky in the draw for his season saving game.

I would probably use 1st half stats only. In the 2nd half, Allen shut it down offensively, which was probably the correct move after seeing the pats offense

This team isn't rattling off multiple wins in a row under Allen.

Already have... 3 in a row last year falcons, browns, and eagles. Allen is actually 6-3 in his last 9 games

Lol. They did to start the season.

We put up 304 yards of offense and 27 points on offense while winning the turnover battle 3-0 with multiple short fields.
I'm not convinced that shite got fixed at all yesterday. Pete still made some terrible calls.

When your defense plays like that, 304 yards of offense will win 10 out of 10 games.

Did look like a much better game plan with the WR route combinations. Did not see as many WRs in the same spot; of course, there were still a few with 1 almost being an INT.

Which is an increase from previous weeks. Also had a lot more pre-snap penalties this week. Makes me wonder if part of Pete's not using a lot of pre-snap movement is to avoid false starts, delay of game, and illegal formations. Then again, that may be giving Pete too much credit

Winnable, but the Texans are much improved.

It's still bad playcalling.
Scoring only 3 touchdowns offensively should be concerning to us all.
We may have played one of the worst teams in the league. I'm not drinking any kool-aid after the game I saw new England play.

A great win but doesn’t change everything. I do think it shows that
this team is capable of better play than we saw against TB and in the second half against the Packers.
I think 9-8 is a possibility,which could contend for a division title.

We had been scoring 1 TD per game before Sunday. I think we are concerned lol

The Pats are trash. Dont get excited.

We ran the ball like we haven't all year. That was the biggest difference for me.
We always talk about stopping the run and forcing teams to beat you through the air.
If you can't stop the run, even when you know it's coming, you don't stand a chance.
I think Kamaras comments after the BUCS game reached the right ears.

Patriots are bad team. I need to see more from the offense. Happy for the W though
