Pretty good draft

I think #12 is too high for Shaq Lawson, but it wouldn't be a horrible pick.

Austin Johnson at #47 would be a steal.

Joshua Garnett is listed by ESPN as the #54 ranked player in the draft, so if he's there at #78 jump on him.

No way in the world that Jihad Ward is there in round 4. That's fantasy land. He won't last past round 2.

Jerell Adams in round 5 would be a very nice pick. 6'5-245 and carries an early 4th round grade right now according to Kiper.

Not familiar with the LB in round 7, but overall I would take this draft in a heartbeat.

Payton is an offensive coach and Brees is throwing up 4,300+ yards every year, but if we get some real help on offense, we couldn't be stopped at all. We need playmakers on defense and can address that with the first pick if Smith or Jack are there. I don't think Lawson fits that bill at #12, but I wouldn't be surprised to see us take him if we traded back 5 picks or so. The wr class has some steals later on, but not many big bodied guys. I would like to see the Saints address OLB and DT the first two rounds and then supply Brees with some help at oline and wr. I think DT is deep enough to where we don't have to reach at 12 for one unless it's a top 2 at the position.
