I am really indifferent on it atm.
I was very much against drafting Jackson. I am unsure how to feel. I still think we probably did the right thing.
So we got Davenport and lost a first round pick the following year.
Or we could have had no Davenport with:
Lamar Jackson
and then drafted one
CB/ Deandre Baker, Greedy Willams
OT/ Kaleb McGary, Jawaan Taylor, Greg Little, Cody Ford
WR/ N'Keal Harry, Deebo Samuel
we ended up getting Erik McCoy early in the 2nd round any ways which is like a first rounder.

Yeah, Lamar looks good and is the right kind of QB to run that offense. But so did/was Kap with Greg Roman as his OC. I don’t see this as sustainable for a decade like Payton’s offense.

I don't know if Lamar is an accurate enough passer to succeed in Payton's offense. We see these running QBs take the league by storm the first few years, but they always wear down.
