Yes it's very early, but heard Krull has made some nice catches and moves very well for a big man. Hopefully he can put in some work this season and get some playing time.

I wouldn't mind if he latched on to a spot. No one stood out last year. Trautman probably isn't going anywhere. Juwan Johnson or Vannett did not set the world on fire. The Taysom experiment will be interesting but if there is a weak position on the offense currently, T.E. would have to be in the conversation.

TE, RB, and, arguably, G are the weakest positions on the offense now. RB b/c of Kamara's impending suspension, Ingram's age, and how unimpressive Tony Jones was. G b/c Peat is so often injured and Ruiz played poorly last season. Hopefully, Peat stays healthy for a change and Marrone can coach up Ruiz.

I’ve heard good things about him as well. Hopefully he develops into something. We are pretty weak at TE.

You could basically cut every TE on or roster and no one would care or know the difference.

Krull is a puzzle to me. How does a TE who is 6'6-260 and who had a good senior year not even get invited to the NFL Combine?

I think he could’ve posted a really nice year without the injuries.

PFF rated Trautman as top 3 blocker the last 2 years

Watched his film FWIW and his catches were easy ones. Running free in college catching passes into the body is one thing

His blocking and hands seem to be sub par.
Seems a long strider good for Med to long routes.
Great name.

The kids and I adopted Pitt cause the kids like their uniforms and they were the midweek team to watch with Pickett back there.

He was my favorite to watch. Pickett used him as a security blanket. He made some really tough ballsy catches that are not on his YouTube highlights.

I do have a bias for TEs though. It's my favorite position to watch and I always wanted to play TE after the great Hoby Brenner.

He has good hands and is fearless. Hard to move off his route.

I was interested to see where he went before the saints got him.

I feel like his play was better than what youtuve has. Especially when the run game ran to his side all the time. They gained a lot of yards behind his side.

Hope your right. Most of the vids I watched just showed wide open routes.
We could use a pleasant surprise this year at TE either from Taysom or Krull.

Soft as puppy shite, gets locked up in man, runs into coverages in zone, doesn’t catch well, can’t block, looks good in a uniform, flashes athleticism, had the only first round qb in the draft as his qb.

Aside from that, he’s a Gronk clone.
