Kiper has the Saints selecting DT Phil Taylor in rnd 1.

McShay has us selecting DE Adrian Clayborn.

FWIW, both guys have the Panthers selecting QB Cam Newton #1 overall.

Would rather have Clayborn, nothing against Taylor.

I can't because it's "inside" or "premium" information, ie you have to pay for it. td.com forbids the posting of copyrighted material.

Will Clayborn fall that far? He's pretty damn good.

Supposedly there are real concerns about his health. He was born with Erb's Palsey, which restricts the movement of his shoulder. Kiper has him going #27 to Atlanta.

With the Erb's Palsy, there is talk that he might be restricted to right end on the defensive line. Some teams might not want a potentially injury-prone player at the premium defensive line spot, especially if they have an established RE.

Bummer. Seemed like he would have really helped with our pass rush. I have confidence in SP and his cadre of scouts though. I'm hoping they go for defense, either lineman or LB.

I disagree. I think Aldon Smith will be the best DE in this draft. Just my opinion....
