Looks like Payton pulled the old fake rumor trick on KW again, and played him like a child again
I dont know if you guys heard the interview Payton did with Peter King earlier this season where he talked about Kenny getting fired from WWL.
He didnt mention KW directly but he talked about having a snitch in the locker room that was feeding info to "local media." To find out who it was, Payton made up a fake trade rumor between us and Seattle and fed it to the suspected snitch. Predictably KW was immediately on the radio talking about a trade that was about to go down. Of course the snitch got canned and KW wasnt too much after.
Wouldnt suprise me if that was going down again.

Kenny Wilkerson is eminently hatable. I just said on local radio that getting him to melt down in a screaming match with me on Kaare's show was the "highlight of my year." And I've hooked up a good bit this year. I fricking hate Kenny Wilkerson and would probably cry tears of joy if he got shitcanned.
Payton can definitely carry a grudge and if he has it out for Kenny I wouldn't put something like this past him. frick, he already has documented that he did it once in an equally hectic season (2006).
