Last year was somewhat explainable with injury and Rattler, but the fact it is still an issue means the coaching staff is incapable of solving it.

It just means consistently they go in with a bad game plan on both sides of the ball, or we are just hopelessly outmatched in every game player wise

It’s 100% coaching and gameplanning. Because it’s not just garbage time games. Games where we end up winning or significantly outplaying the other team we still start slowly.
It’s a huge issue outside of just starting in the hole. It makes us super one dimensional early in the game which puts a ton of pressure on the oline. And the other team has their full playbook and can lean on the run
