I was hoping he'd be available if we couldn't resign Ingram

Criminal records aside, that offense is really shaping up

This is a laughable thought, but the NFL needs to do right by the Chiefs and ban Hunt for a year.

There's always a franchise more desperate (and ethically challenged) than yours.

1 year 1 million for hunt would've let us use Ingram money on a TE or WR

He will miss time. But all of a sudden that Browns team has some real talent.

We could have signed him and spent a little more money on a TE or WR in free agency. Tamara and Hunt would have been a lot of fun to watch

No, they definitely do not. He missed half a season and will miss at least 6 this coming season. If you watched OTL you’ll realize this wasn’t no Ray Rice scandal. He acted like an idiot and it’s not right what he did but there was much more to that story...and with all the games added up he will miss and the amount of apologies he has shown both said and in actions, he does not need to miss a year.

What I always find it hard to take is the team that has the player who committed an offense has to cut him

Then another team can swoop in and reap the rewards of the talent.

If the chiefs wouldn't have cut him, for shame! Browns signing him? Won't be too big of a deal.

Allow me to make this saints relevant

Saints should go get Duke Johnson Jr

quote:

Browns GM John Dorsey was noncommittal Monday when asked about Duke Johnson's future in Cleveland.
Dorsey held a press conference to address Kareem Hunt's controversial signing. When asked about Johnson, Dorsey replied, "I don't think it makes him expendable yet."

quote:

Johnson remained one of NFL's most-underutilized players in 2018, averaging 5.0 yards per carry and 9.1 yards per catch but handling only 5.4 touches per game
