The time to do that was before the season when it was pretty obvious that this team wasn't on the right track.
I mean, realistically, we went into the season with Jameis Winston as our starting QB, we made a zero-upside hire at head coach, gave the OC job to someone who didn't want it and shipped the best nickel in the league off for a ham sandwich. Also worth mentioning is the trade for Olave because he's a good player but the Saints still overpaid bigly. Disastrous.

What do people not understand about we CAN’T trade him or Thomas. We would be paying more to trade him to a team than just gave him play for us. He’s a Saint until at least 2024.
